MY BACKGROUND

I am an innovative and energetic E-500 RYT-Yoga Teacher & E-RYT 200 teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. I received my 200-hour training with Lifetime Fitness in 2014 and 300-hour training in 2017 with a focus on the use of Therapeutics in Yoga. Being a lifelong learner, I am currently in a 14 month Yoga Therapy Training to round out my offerings with clients. My expected graduation is in January of 2024.
My teaching experience spans from Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga for Sports Performance, Buti Yoga, Barre Fusion, Yoga Nidra, and Wall Yoga, to Meditation, Restorative, Yoga Dance, Yoga Barre Fusion and Paddle Board Yoga and Fitness. I utilize modifications, adjustments, breathing and alignment to safely guide students through each session.
I have always had a connection to movement, starting with dance at age 7 and continuing through adulthood. I love how music and movement connect energy and emotion. I feel that yoga was a progression for me to look inward and reevaluate where life was taking me. I love the calm and balance that is felt after a class no matter what style of yoga practiced. I offer an intention at the beginning of class to set the tone and to start students on a journey of personal growth. Learning something new about yourself every day is motivating and inspiring. My favorite class to teach incorporates meditation, giving the body and mind a chance to connect through breath.
